Experience
I am a tutor in Tucson, Arizona and a senior at the University of Arizona, where I am pursuing a degree in mathematics with a chemical engineering minor. Following graduation, I intend to pursue a master's degree either in education or leadership development. My career plans are either teaching high school math and coaching basketball or working in the Greek Life office at a university, where I can help student leaders. My style of teaching is very adaptable. Each student has a different learning style and preference. I try to make the subject both fun and easier for the student. Math is my favorite subject, but I realize that many students find it intimidating. My approach is to break the problems down to help students understand. I am always willing to mentor students with schooling in general, in addition to tutoring since even issues that are not academic can result in distraction that will affect grades.I tutor students in a number of courses, including arithmetic, algebra, calculus, geometry, differential equations, trigonometry, science, and chemistry. In addition, I also work with students who are preparing to take the SAT.I enjoy reading, playing basketball, and video games. I also recently started doing CrossFit.
